I am a contemporary painter living in a village near Ludlow on the Welsh borders in Herefordshire. I love walking and being outdoors in the landscape or by the sea. My paintings are expressions of how I feel in a place, the cold of the wind, the warmth of the sun, the vastness of a view or moods of the sea. The bleak, the beautiful and the wild, the memory of the land , our belonging and our impact on nature all inform my art.
