Low Cloud - No View
Painted after my first hike up Snowdon in very challenging weather conditions. We didn’t take the easy route and were hoping for views of the lake below. We glimpsed it for about thirty seconds before the mist and low clouds set in. At the top the winds were gusting, sleet falling and the train and visitor centre were closed due to bad weather. It was the end of May! An oil painting with lots of texture.
This painting was selected for the Broadway Arts Festival .
Size 40 x 40 x 4cm ready to hang.
